Bowlers Exhibition centre is best known for its big raves like Baseline festival, so I was shocked when I realised the concert would be taking place at this venue. However, the layout of the concert worked really well. In one room they had the VIP section where there was an on-going DJ, private bar and tables and chairs. In the main event area there were two bars and chairs at each side of the stage. - Viva 

For The Love Of Sci-Fi, from Monopoly Events, is bringing Film legends and TV stars to Manchester. If you remember 80s film classics like ET, Predator, Rocky and Red Sonja then you will love meeting the guests at this event. As well as films, there are guests from TV and music – Stars from Stranger Things will be there, along with Ray Parker Jnr, writer and performer of the Ghostbusters theme song. - 80s Nostalgia

This weekend Edinburgh plays host to Comic Con Scotland: For the Love of 80’s, a convention that features some of the biggest names from the 80’s television and movies, from shows such as The Incredible Hulk,  Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who, The A-Team and cult movies like Flash Gordon, Gremlins, and even Ghostbusters! - Gamer Web

Comic Con Scotland took place this weekend just passed and I was lucky enough to receive a press pass so I could cover the event for Gamers. Dubbed For the Love of 80s, this is the first convention on Scottish soil for Monopoly Events, the convention organisers and as you can understand by the shows title, it was dedicated to all things 1980s!

Macclesfield Festival will be returning on Saturday 21st July 2018. The first festival was an amazing success and a fabulous day out for both families and music lovers, attracting an audience of over 7,500 people from all over Cheshire.

Macclesfield Festival is back with a diverse lineup to suit all music tastes and it is packed with a whole variety of activities suitable for the whole family. Taking place at Macclesfield Rugby Club the festival has attracted some star names including Happy Mondays, Tom Hingley & The Kar-Pets and Macclesfield’s own The Virginmarys.

Macclesfield is having its first annual Macclesfield Festival on Saturday, July 22. There will be lots happening for both adults and kids alike from dancing, live entertainment, stalls selling craft and food items, Tri Golf Corner for kids, Fun Fair, Strongest Man Competition and other fun things to keep you entertained through out the day.
